In order to achieve the perfect taste for your backyard barbeque event this summer, our Southern Style BBQ Rub is expertly handcrafted with premium quality spices! we used traditional flavors, authentic to barbeque cooking, to create a savory, slightly smoky-sweet blend. Some of the spices mixed into this rub are pepper, Spanish paprika, brown sugar, California garlic, and ground chiles. This blended seasoning is versatile as a dry rub or stir it into ketchup for a homemade version of BBQ sauce. If you are hungry for BBQ Potato chips, just lightly sprinkle our BBQ Dry Rub on fresh fried potato chips for an authentic BBQ flavored treat. You can use Southern Style BBQ Rub on smoked ribs, brisket, chicken, hamburgers, pork or fish.
Spice Talk Tip:
Generously season meat with our dry rub and let it sit 45 minutes before grilling. Also, the blend tastes delicious in brown or black beans.
DIRECTIONS
- Peel and uniformly slice the Potatoes lengthwise so they are about 1/16″ thick.
- Place Potatoes in a bowl of ice water as you slice. Let them stand for about 30 minutes, then drain and spread them out on paper towels to dry.
- Pour frying oil into a dutch oven pan to a depth of 2 inches and heat over a medium-high stove top (heat to 325°F).
- Working in batches, fry Potatoes until golden and crisp for 3 to 5 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, transfer them to a paper towel-lined bowl for draining.
- Season with Southern Style BBQ Dry Rub, to taste.
